‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 6 spoilers: When simulated horror becomes real
Why do people out there want to intentionally terrify themselves? That’s something we’re still trying to figure out, since personally we are not a fan of this. There are so many of these horror places that you can go to now for the purpose of freaking yourself out, and some of them require you to actually take the power into your own hands to save yourself from being terrified further. Maybe some of them are fun, but we haven’t encountered one.
So where are we going with all of this? Really, we’re looking at an upcoming episode of “Rizzoli & Isles” airing on February 23 entitled “Scared to Death,” one that per the SpoilerTV synopsis will revolve around a pay-for-scare place that just so happens to actually be dangerous in a way that many of these are not:
‘A woman is found murdered in a grisly scene reminiscent of a horror movie, leading the team to uncover a frightening “game” in which people pay to experience terror.”
By the end of this episode we hope that we get to see some fun investigating that we haven’t seen before on the show … and also that Maura is okay. Given that this is a series that still does have a heavy procedural element at the core of it, we like to imagine that most of this story will be resolved by the time we roll around to the end of the first episode back on Tuesday. We’re going to have some more sneak peeks on that soon, so be on the lookout.
