‘The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story’ episode 2 preview: Man on the run

OJ Simpson -The premiere of “The People vs. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story” aired on FX Tuesday night, and for the most part, it was a spectacular affair. We had great performances from Cuba Gooding Jr. and Sarah Paulson, and the episode ended with the beginning of the infamous white Bronco chase.

This event will mark the beginning of the next new episode, which is also going to feature heavily attempts by his defense team to figure how to justify this (no easy task). Meanwhile, the prosecution led by Marcia Clark will probably use this to fuel their fire all the stronger that Simpson is guilty. The official synopsis below makes it a little more clear precisely as to what to expect:

“With O.J. Simpson (Cuba Gooding Jr.) missing in the white Bronco, Robert Shapiro (John Travolta) and Robert Kardashian (David Schwimmer) deal with the fallout, as the D.A.’s office and LAPD scramble to save face and find him. Written by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski; directed by Ryan Murphy.”

We’re going to be taking our time to get to the trial this season, but for the most part we are definitely compelled already to keep watching. While many of the show’s viewers are probably old enough to remember much of the hype surrounding the trial and its aftermath, there is still something enthralling about seeing it all play out once more. It reminds you as to what that feeling was like back when everyone was obsessed with this case.

We will continue to share further news when it comes to the show, so be on the lookout for that.
