‘Supergirl’ episode 12 video: Winn, James learn about Kara, Adam

Monday night’s new episode of “Supergirl” is definitely going to feature Kara Zor-El having her hands full. First and foremost, she’s got to tackle the arrival of Bizarro-Girl in National City. This is a woman who has many of the same powers (with a twist) of Supergirl, and the worst part is that the public could think that she actually is Supergirl. Think of this as a perfect way to ruin her reputation.

Also, there will be a little bit of romance as things start to heat up ever so slightly between Kara and Cat Grant’s son Adam (Blake Jenner). The sneak peek below gives you a little bit more in the way of information on this subject, at least in the form of her telling Winn and James about being asked out by him.

Could Kara be just a little bit more sensitive to Winn here? Probably, and that’s the one part of this story that rubs us the wrong way a little bit. It reminds us of “Arrow” season 2 when Oliver Queen was so openly romantic with Sara in front of Felicity, knowing full well that there were feelings there. She certainly has the right to be happy and date who she wants, but the guy is still her friend, and he really opened up his entire heart to her. There has to be a more delicate way to go about this, but hey, people are flawed. That’s one of the reasons why Kara is so compelling; she’s not perfect, and the show will probably pay this off in due time.
