‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Why Jubilee Sharpe objects to Ben Higgins’ group date
Monday night’s new episode of “The Bachelor” is going to feature some serious drama; as a matter of fact, we may see one of the most blunt attitudes that we’ve ever seen on a group date!
The sneak peek below does a very good job of setting up precisely what is one of the biggest problems with group dates as a whole: So much of them just revolves around going through the motions. This date in the video below is especially hokey, since it is cheesy, romantic Spanish lessons featuring Ben Higgins and many of the women. Jubilee Sharpe’s not a fan of it! She calls the date out basically on what it is, and that is a series of Ben saying the same thing to almost every person. It’s almost designed to breed jealousy among the women, and that seems to have worked.
Given the way that she is acting, we’re not sure that Jubilee has too much life left on the show unfortunately. We’re a big fan of her humor and the vulnerability that she has shown this season, but in order to do well on “The Bachelor” you have to be able to handle the warts of it. Going on a group date is a rather big wart, given that you have to deal with a lot of nonsense.
Hopefully, Jubilee has at least done enough on this show to get a spot somewhere else on the franchise if the end is near. She could make a good Bachelorette, or at least a good “Bachelor in Paradise” contestant.
