‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ spoilers: Tyra Banks, Jessica Alba, Warren Buffett among new advisers

If there is one thing that we saw about “The Celebrity Apprentice” with Donald Trump time and time again, it is that he loved using his children as advisers. While we would occasionally see the likes of George Ross or Piers Morgan monitoring the teams, for the most part it was Ivanka, Donald Jr., or Eric Trump who was around the celebrities as they prepared for the tasks. They reported back to their father, who then made the final decision on who to fire at the end of the show.

So who are going to be the advisers for Patrick Schwarzenegger on his upcoming season? Think along the lines of some celebrities (Tyra Banks and Jessica Alba), a financial icon (Warren Buffett), a current Los Angeles staple (Clippers owner / former Microsoft executive Steve Ballmer), and of course someone in the family just to make things similar to the Trump era (Patrick Knapp Schwarzenegger, an entertainment lawyer).

While you can quibble with the just-released cast for the show if you wish, it’s hard to be angry with the advisers. Having a relative of a host is pretty much tradition at this point, and the big names do all have some major business connections already. Alba in particular has made a very nice living without being in the spotlight nearly as much the past few years thanks to some smart choices.

This new season is set to film this spring, and while we have no official premiere-date news as of yet, our feeling is that it will come on the air at some point either in the fall or early 2017.
