‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 2 spoilers: Are we looking at a time jump?

If there is ever a show that is going to have a lot on its plate when it returns with new episodes, it is “How to Get Away with Murder” on ABC. Let’s just say that when you have a situation that happens like Annalise Keating being shot, how do you move forward from that? How do you reestablish any sort of equilibrium? It’s a pretty crazy and almost-impossible thing to think about, but this is where we are on the series right now, and it could take a little bit of time to piece everything together.

The winter premiere is finally coming up on February 11 (entitled “What Happened to You, Annalise?”), and we’re going to jump forward at least a little bit of time to figure out how Viola Davis’ character is reeling from what happened with Wes:

“A few weeks have passed since Wes shot Annalise. Wes and The Keating 5 deal with the fallout from that night, as Annalise is faced with a complicated road to recovery.”

While many of the Keating 5 could start to really question whether or not working with her is worth it, we feel like Wes is going to have a separate journey all his own trying to figure out just how his teacher knows his real name, a name nobody has called him in many years. This is obviously going to be something that sticks with him for a lengthy period of time, and it’s going to be fun to see how some of that plays out.
