Is ‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 14 new tonight on CBS? First photo of ‘Decompressed’
The bad news for all “NCIS” fans is that if you’ve been looking forward to a new episode tonight, you are bound to stay waiting for many more days still. There is no new episode of the show on CBS until we roll around to February 9 … which is a rather long time.
If there is some good news we can offer up, it is that the CBS show is going to be unleashing something that is at least rather interesting in the upcoming episode entitled “Decompressed,” and the new photo above serves as evidence of this very thing! This story revolves around a murder that happens that forces a number of deep-sea divers to stay in a decompression chamber with the dead body for a lengthy period of time. Meanwhile, the team has to conduct an investigation of their own from the outside.
This is a very interesting episode in that we imagine many of the guest stars will have more than than we’re used to seeing them have on the show. Specifically, can you imagine playing the body for this whole episode?
Meanwhile, we also figure that we’re going to get a chance to see some really interesting changes to the investigative process itself. There are not many opportunities to see something new when you are this deep into your show’s run, so suffice it to say we’re at least intrigued by this idea … and we’re looking forward to talking even more about it moving forward.

What is it with NCIS anyway? 1 new episode, then nothing for weeks, then another new one, then nothing for weeks…. whatever happened to a full season?

I think that it is the absence makes the heart grow fonder principle. If you don’t see the show for a while then you will start longing for it.

Problem is, is that it becomes like a lunar eclipse. You wake up the next day saying, “oh, there was one last night?”

Cute! There is a noticeable lack of chatter about this show. It used to be that when Matt Carter wrote something about NCIS on this forum, the chatter went on for days. Now, hardly anyone is commenting. The last excitement was 42 comments on the article that had the picture of Cote de Pablo. Bring up her name and her fans comment and the haters hate them.

The announcements concerning Michael Weatherly also create lots of buzz. I won’t be excited until Weatherly gets some quality screen time which means I may not have any reason to get excited at all.

Michael has created his own production company. He has some sort of deal with CBS. Maybe he will create some shows in which he can get some decent roles for himself. He should be well rested. He’s been standing around without much to do since season 11 of NCIS. I’m still scratching my head as to why they paid him about a quarter of a million per episode and used him as wallpaper.
