‘Supergirl’ episode 11 preview: About this ‘Strange Visitor from Another Planet’

Sure, we know that most of the buzz surrounding Monday night’s new episode of “Supergirl” is the eventual arrival of Blake Jenner as Adam, Cat Grant’s son and someone who will be a potential love interest for Kara Zor-El.

With that being said, this episode is also going to have an enormous alien presence! We’re going to get a chance to see a White Martian on this episode, who just so happens to be someone who has ties to J’onn J’onzz in a pretty substantial way. These two are adversaries, and it could be one of the few examples of Supergirl helping with someone else’s villain just as much as she is battling them herself. This should be interesting, even if it feels very much like yet another one-off episode that will not be as memorable down the road as it would be if it was someone like Astra or Non, who you know are still out there.

The good thing for the show is that we don’t think anyone out there is going to be anything other than enthralled still to see what happens on this episode. The show has done a very good job at setting up the majority of its conflicts, and also getting you to know the supporting cast. We weren’t a huge fan of the early episodes, but it has since found its way and much like “The Flash” or “Arrow,” is setting up itself for a really good conclusion in the end.
