Is ‘The Good Wife’ season 7, episode 11 new tonight? What may lie ahead

The bad news for you is that there is no new episode of “The Good Wife” airing on CBS Sunday night. What’s the good news? This may be the last time that we have to hand down this message for a little while.

New episodes of the Julianna Margulies drama are going to air again on January 10 starting with “Iowa,” an episode about this very subject that could help to determine Peter’s future. While the Caucus is not something that end his run for President if it goes badly, it could determine much of the course of his future. Therefore, we don’t know how you call this episode anything but must-watch TV. To go along with this, you have the idea of Alicia and Eli spending extended periods of time together right on the heels of her learning what he did with Will’s deleted phone message. This cannot be good.

In terms of the schedule, this will be at least one of two new “Good Wife” episodes in the month of January. There is another installment entitled “Tracks” set for January 17, and the show will be off on January 24 because of NFL postseason action. (Nobody wants to compete against that.) It is possible that the show could return on January 31, but it’s not confirmed. If it does, it will only air for one week without a repeat, given that the Super Bowl is coming to CBS February 7.
