Is ‘Madam Secretary’ season 2, episode 11 new tonight? CBS unveils ‘Unity Mode’ promo
We’ve got a double-dose of bad news for “Madam Secretary” fans at the moment. First of all, there’s no new episode tonight on CBS. We actually thought that there would be before the midseason schedule was announced, but it just so turns out that the network didn’t want to air an installment so close to New Year’s Day. That’s the only explanation we can think of, since airing against the Golden Globes next week actually feels like an even worse move from our vantage point.
So what’s the other bad news? Well, CBS has released a new promo for the upcoming “Unity Node,” but it is constructed almost entirely of footage that you have already seen. What it does make clear that the last episode may not of is that one of the storyline’s most-important characters will die. Given that McCord and President Dalton are still integral to the show, we cannot really imagine it being either one of them. That doesn’t suggest the best outlook for Ostrov, does it?
One other big of insight into a grim fate for Ostrov is that we’ve barely even come to know the Vice-President on the show, and if they were to become a more important character, wouldn’t they be given more of a focus?
Even if Elizabeth and Dalton do make it out of this situation unscathed, that does not mean that their future is necessarily all sunshine and rainbows. There are still a wide array of problems that they are going to have to deal with, beginning with Russia and then stemming all the way back to their home in the United States.
