Is ‘Madam Secretary’ season 2, episode 11 new tonight? New Tea Leoni – ‘Unity Node’ photo!
Once again, we come bearing bad news for all fans of “Madam Secretary” tonight: There is not a new episode airing on CBS. This is the second in a line of three weeks where there will not be an episode. The show returns with “Unity Node” on January 10, and the photo above is the latest from this episode.
The good news here is clear: Elizabeth McCord (Tea Leoni) is indoors, and obviously nothing too terrible happened to her as a result of the shooting / explosion that we saw at the end of the winter finale. Given that there is also a photo out there for this episode of President Dalton (Keith Carradine), we also have to assume that he is going to make it through okay. Granted, even if these two are alive and well, that doesn’t mean that this cliffhanger comes without consequences. There are other lives still hanging in the balance, and even if no one dies the characters could be more on alert than ever moving forward.
Based on some early indications, it appears as though CBS could consider doing something a little bit different when it comes to their pattern for airing new episodes this season. While it is not confirmed just yet, we could see the network opt to air more throughout the month of January and February than in the past. CBS already has the Super Bowl in early February, and the only other problem week will be the Oscars on February 28.
We’ll have some other news related to “Madam Secretary” moving forward; stay tuned!
