‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ season 6, episode 3 review: Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna and a tiny horse
So far this season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 6 has been a complete snooze fest. No drama and nothing happening, but at least there has been some luxurious locales and beautiful cars while Kyle and Lisa V. were in Italy on the way to Nicky Hilton’s wedding. With Kyle being invited and uninvited to the wedding so many times we wonder if by the time she makes it to the wedding in London if she’ll still be invited or not?
The wedding is over now and Kyle and Lisa V are back in Beverly Hills. We have been missing some of the crazy extravagance this season, but tonight we got it with Lisa V. She and Lisa R. head out to Ohio to pick up the second smallest horse in the world for Ken’s 70’s birthday. She sees the pony and she’s adorably cute, but she notices that the horse might have issues with one of her legs. She calls Ken and reveals the present, and she tells him that it might have a leg issue asking what to do. After speaking to Ken she decides to leave the pony, have a vet come in to look at her and bring pictures back for Ken to see. With the disappointment of the pony, she plans to make Ken’s birthday lunch as special as possible, but bad weather comes in and rains on her party.
We finally met Erika, the new housewife and she has an interesting rags to riches story. She met her husband while waitressing at a bar and they have now been married for 15 years. She knew that the big age difference and financial difference would cause naysayers to gossip, but after 15 years of marriage, she doesn’t care. Her husband is a very famous lawyer, and she is a singer that has had some chart topping hits.
So the new housewife hasn’t really been part of the group yet, but she seems like a handful, which is exactly what this season needs at this point. There were some cute moments and some glamorous moments in this episode, but there is still something lacking this season. Where is the drama? It looks like there might be a little next week as some people are questioning Yolanda’s illness, but we are already 3 episodes in and nothing has really happened. Episode grade: C+
