‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 10 preview: Return date, further hopes for Grant Gustin, cast

Flash -

Tonight, “The Flash” season 2 brought you some holiday cheer, and also some holiday terror, in its Christmas Special / midseason finale. You had everything from Zoom to the Trickster to Wally West being a part of the story for the first time on a major level.

So when will you get a chance to see the show on the air again? We’ll have that answer for you soon, but we’re circling January 19 at the most as a tentative start date given that this is the same week that “Legends of Tomorrow” is premiering. Update: It’s confirmed! We will be back in full on the 19th.

As for everything that is coming on the show, it feels safe to say that the worst for Zoom is still yet to come, especially since there is so much more of this story still to be told. The promo features just one part of the story, which involves Zoom using Patty Spivot as bait. We’re starting to figure out more that Zoom doesn’t even really want him dead for now; instead, he wants Harrison Wells to build up his speed force so that when he kills him, he will acquire as much of his power as humanly possible.

As for whether or not Barry ends up telling his girlfriend who he really is before then, we just has to wait and see. For now, it is safe to assume that it is definitely on his mind. Also, we have a hard time thinking that Patty will actually die given that it is being teased in such a way.
