‘Elementary’ season 4, episode 4 preview: Skeletons abound on Thanksgiving

ElementaryOne of the mysteries related to “Elementary” that may be apparent right away on its upcoming November 26 episode actually has nothing to do with the story itself. Instead, it’s more about this: Why in the world are you airing a new episode on Thanksgiving night? This is typically a bad night for television, especially when it does not involve either football, parades, dogs, or Black Friday commercials that make people dread getting up early.

There are two quick answers that we can give you for the scheduling: There are 24 episodes in a season so they have to find a way to fit these stories in somewhere given the late start, and that the ratings for the episode on Thanksgiving last year weren’t bad. Actually, they tied for the best November ratings that the show received. Really, it wasn’t until December after “How to Get Away with Murder” ended that things started to improve.

Anyway, you can check out the full synopsis for this particular story below, which has a lot to do with skeletons based on the accompanying promo.

“When Holmes and Watson investigate the murder of a fertility lab technician, they discover the woman had a secret personal life that leads them to multiple suspects. Also, the tables are turned on Watson when she’s investigated by an NYPD detective.”

If you are not around for the episode, we doubt that there is going to be anything you miss in here that is must-see television … but we still recommend at least recording it if you are a fan. The mystery could turn out to be quite good!
