‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3, episode 9 preview: The story ahead for Clark Gregg, cast in ‘Closure’
We begin this particular “Agents of SHIELD” article with what is the bad news: There is no new episode of the show airing next week. Thanks largely to the Thanksgiving holiday, ABC has fittingly decided that they are better of taking a little bit of a break from the action. It is still something that they will return to later, so have no fear about that.
What we have for you now are some of the first details on the next new episode “Closure,” starting with the super-short synopsis below:
“Ward’s campaign for revenge brings the S.H.I.E.L.D. team to their knees, and Coulson proves he will do anything to settle the score.”
Basically, what this synopsis really means is that Coulson’s going to be losing it. He’s realized that Gideon Malick has just ruined a good thing he had going with Rosalind, and is doing terrible things to Inhumans, the group of people he has tried so desperately to protect. Therefore, Clark Gregg’s character is going to start staring through stuff, being awesome and yet doing a few things here and there that a Director of SHIELD probably should not be doing. Then again, this is why we love him, right?
Given that we are getting near the end of the fall half of the season, we have to expect that there are going to be some gigantic shockers in due time. With this being said, we do anticipate some of these shockers being a little bit different than the giant shocker we had dropped when it came to Daisy at the end of season 2A.
