‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 10 preview: Where does Bishop go next after Jake storyline?
Tuesday night’s new episode of “NCIS” revolved around multiple cases, but since we don’t tend to focus too much on the case-of-the-week aspect of things in these preview articles, let’s instead cast most of the focus on what was one of the largest surprises: The potential end of Bishop’s marriage.
Did Jake really cheat on his wife? We’ve seen some theories out there that he may be lying in order to protect her, and while we’ve seen that storyline seven ways ’til Sunday on other shows, there is not much concrete evidence right now to believe that is the case here. For now, we just have to assume that he is a total dirtbag, and our heart breaks for anyone who is a victim of something like infidelity.
Following this, it is understandable that Bishop would want a little family time to center herself once more, and judging from the synopsis below for next week’s new episode “Blood Brothers,” this could be a major part of the story:
“In the hopes of sparing a family further tragedy, the Secretary of the Navy calls on NCIS to help a sailor battling leukemia locate a bone marrow transplant after his two Marine siblings are killed in the line of duty. Also, Bishop returns home to Oklahoma for the Thanksgiving holiday.”
Both of these stories sound interesting in their own way, though the latter will see the arrival of Lindsay Wagner in the role of Bishop’s mother. Former “Bionic Woman” fans commence rejoicing!

In the next NCIS episode, I want to see Agent Bishop get inside her car, turn the engine on and explode. Emily is an endearing actress but the character deserves prompt erasing.
