‘The Walking Dead’ season 6, episode 7 preview: Story for Andrew Lincoln, cast in ‘Head’s Up’

twdWe are starting to get near the end of “The Walking Dead” season 6A, and something surprising is coming around the bend: Peace. Wait, what? Are we thinking about the right show here? The funny thing about this is that any time that we see a signal that something resembling tranquility is coming, we start to look around the corner for the next extremely terrible thing to take place. (Based on the Negan casting, that’s definitely happened by the end of the season.)

“Head’s Up” is the title for this next new episode of the show, and the synopsis below makes it appear more or less as if Alexandria is recovering:

“Alexandria is finally able to begin pulling itself back together; peace is embraced between the two groups.”

At this point, we basically feel for everyone out there who is left wondering about Glenn, and we’re especially starting to think that they may just go ahead and wait until we get around to the midseason finale before revealing it one way or another. Is that insanely frustrating? Sure, and it is definitely frustrating to people who have been watching all this time; it’s risky because you don’t want to see anyone bail on the show because they took too long to make this big reveal. We probably would’ve given an answer last week if we were in Scott M. Gimple’s shoes.

Ultimately, we feel very much for those who are waiting. If nothing else, we at least one a big episode for Andrew Lincoln next week, given just how long it has been since we’ve had that.
