‘The Amazing Race 27’ episode 9 preview: Back to India (again); more U-Turn drama

No offense to India, but at this particular point in time we’re completely over seeing the country on “The Amazing Race.” It has been visited so many times, and since it is often just visiting big, crowd cities, we cannot differentiate one visit from the country to another. What about Mongolia? What about Eastern Russia? There are so many parts of the world that are reasonably safe, and still relatively untapped on the show.

In the preview for the next episode, most of the drama that you see is about the return of the oh-so-infamous U-Turn than the location, and for good reason. Justin & Diana are going to try to do everything that they can in order to ensure that nobody puts them out on an island, and that includes potentially throwing other teams under the bus. It looks like Logan & Chris could find themselves in a most-unfortunate position as a result of some of these tactics.

Meanwhile, you also have to remember that Tanner & Josh are going to have a Speed Bump coming up that they will have to do … but we imagine they won’t have a huge problem with it. The only reason they were in big danger tonight was screwing up with a taxi and then letting Tiffany & Krista finish ahead of them after they offered to help them with a Roadblock. They’re faster than other teams, and going to India will probably be a huge equalizer.
