‘The Leftovers’ season 2, episode 6 preview: The ghost within Kevin Garvey haunts further

Leftovers -Sunday night, “The Leftovers” was once again firing on all cylinders, and this time courtesy of Matt Jamison. Through the majority of this installment, we saw his repeated attempts to make his way back into Jarden after being thrown out time and time again. It was emotional, personal, and a strong contender for our favorite episode of the entire series to date.

On next week’s new episode of the show, we’re going to be diving back into the world of Kevin Garvey once more. Specifically, we are talking here in the form of his instability, which has shown time and time again to the result of Patti haunting him like a terrible ghost. Yet, she’s more of a part of his conscious, and something that is impossible to ignore.

This episode is entitled “Lens,” and the synopsis below offers up a little more insight into what to expect:

“Unexpected visitors get under Nora’s (Carrie Coon) skin and she becomes preoccupied with a burning question about herself. Kevin’s (Justin Theroux) predicament becomes impossible to ignore. Erika (Regina King) finds an unlikely ally and reveals haunting secrets.”

So how will Matt’s story carry through to the events of this episode? There is no firm answer to that just yet, mostly because there is no guarantee that we are even going to see him anytime soon. The same goes for Laurie, and instead we could just see Jarden at war … which seems to be a long time coming when you think about it.
