‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 20 video: New ‘Girl Meets Texas’ preview hints at friendship-changing moment

There has been no episode or event in the “Girl Meets World” universe hyped up like “Girl Meets Texas.” For one, it’s the first three-part event that the show has done, and it is being hyped up to go along with it like this is some sort of feature film.

The promo below gives you a couple of teases, including that this is going to be the episode of the show that fundamentally changes the Maya – Riley friendship forever. Why is that? We feel like one of the reasons for that is simply a matter of Lucas, and whether or not he may have feelings for Maya that surpass the ones that he has for Riley.

In addition to this video, we’ve now got confirmation that the third part of the event is going to for the most part focus on what happens when the gang heads back to New York after some time in the Lone Star State. There is going to be a good twenty or so minutes here for the show to focus on figuring out what happens for many of these characters moving forward.

In some ways, this episode is going to feel like a season finale for the show, but the twist here is that fundamentally, it’s not. There will be some stories that come after this, and that means more opportunities to see just how many of these characters are going to handle what is coming their way.
