‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3, episode 2 preview: Andrew gives Daisy a therapy session

Agents -Can Daisy help to give many Inhumans a purpose? That is something that she is desperate to do, but it still begs an important question: Is she trying too hard at the moment to make it happen?

In the sneak peek below for Tuesday night’s “Agents of SHIELD” episode, you can see Chloe Bennet’s character having a very candid conversation with Andrew (Blair Underwood) on the subject of whether or not she can do something that her mother could not: Find a way to help these people long-term, and give them something to fight for. She wants to use her own experiences in a way to ensure that other people feel like they can belong somewhere.

In watching this sneak peek, it is easy to laud Daisy for her idealism and her ambition. She does genuinely want to ensure that other people never feel either alone or hurt. However, at the same time is she genuinely seeing the forest through the trees? There are so many Inhumans out there who probably are not going to want her help, and will do everything that they can in order to resist it. This will be the source of much of the conflict moving forward for her, especially once she starts to get a few team members on her side. It could be hard to understand why there are some out there who do not want or appreciate the advances that the organization is making towards them.

We’ll be back with more coverage of this episode Tuesday, and get ready to also see a few important scenes between Andrew and Agent May that could shape that character’s future.
