MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 5, episode 6 preview: Can Jenna turns things around with Matty, Tamara?

Jenna Hamilton may be flustered, confused, and afraid to say what is really on her mind on “Awkward” more often than not, but we do feel like there’s earnestness in her heart. She wants to do the right thing, even though she struggles often with the “how” part of the equation.

This is why she is in such damage control entering next week’s new episode. After outing Tamara’s secret-that-was-actually-a-lie about Adam, it’s now time to figure out if there is a way to fix that. The thing is, she is in love with the guy. We’re not sure that it is “let’s get married now” love per se, but these are still feelings that she has in her heart, and she may want to give a relationship an honest try … provided of course that Adam can be tracked down. Here’s the problem with getting engaged to someone you barely know: You probably don’t know a list of places that they like to hang out.

Given that this is “Awkward,” you can also anticipate a lot of Matty – Jenna drama thanks to one simple question (cue the dramatic repose here): Is he at Jenna’s door? Is he finally going to admit to his feelings? With graduation coming, you better hope that one of them does something or else they run the risk of going off and finding new lives that certainly do not include each other.
