‘Switched at Birth’ season 4, episode 17 preview: Unraveling the latest Lily – Toby shocker

The fourth season of “Switched at Birth” is one that has certainly featured tumultuous times for many of its characters, and the past few episodes have especially revolved around Toby and Lily. When the latter learned that she was expecting, it threw him for a loop and forced him to have to grow up fast. Thanks to that, he has tried to prepare himself to be the best potential father that he can be.

So what happens when Lily determines that she wants to move to England? Is there anything that he can do about it? This is going to be one of the major themes of next week’s new episode, which is certainly one of the most important episodes that we have seen for these characters so far. Take a look at the synopsis below to get some other details on what to expect, and you will realize that Toby is far from the only character currently going through some tough times:

“With Mingo’s help, Daphne holds a fundraiser to help support a sign-language school in Mexico. Bay is livid when a student starts using her art to sell crude t-shirts. Regina deals with the repercussions of digging through Eric’s past. Meanwhile, Toby and Lily have to make difficult decisions about their future.”

Given that there are still a few more episodes left to go this season, our hope is simply that there is going to be a little bit of time for some of these story threads to unravel fully, and for us to have closure if that is possible.
