‘Blood & Oil’ episode 2 preview: What lies ahead for Chace Crawford, cast?

Sunday night is an ambitious night for ABC, mostly because of the fact that they are replacing “Resurrection” and “Revenge” with two new shows in “Blood & Oil” and “Quantico.” Luckily, “Blood & Oil” does have a little bit of a “Revenge” vibe to it, mostly because it is one of the few primetime soaps out there. You’ve got the return of Don Johnson in a major TV role, and to go along with that, Chace Crawford is back in a starring role following his time on “Gossip Girl.”

The premiere Sunday gave you a small sense of just what could be coming on the show, and we are here now to offer up a little bit more of what lies ahead. “The Ripple Effect” is the title for the next new episode, and you can get a few details about that below:

“The aftermath of the robbery has suspicions flying as all signs indicate an inside job at Briggs Oil. Wick scrambles to do everything he can to hide his involvement, but his accomplice may prove to be too much of a wild card and expose Wick’s part in the crime that nearly killed his father. Meanwhile, the arrival of Hap’s daughter, Lacey, stokes a rivalry with Carla, Hap’s wife. Also, Billy continues to be seduced by Hap’s world and jumps into another deal with him without consulting his wife, Cody.”

While there are going to be many tests coming up for the characters on the show, one of the biggest ones will come tomorrow when the ratings are revealed. For now, we are relatively on the fence about the show’s long-term prospects.
