‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5, episode 2 preview: ‘The Price’ puts the focus on Regina

“Magic comes with a price” is a quote that any fan of “Once Upon a Time” has more than likely heard a few hundred times throughout the past several years of the show. Therefore, we have to consider it pretty significant when it is the title for an episode like it is next week.

So what will the story of “The Price” be? Based on the promo below, we are led very much to believe that a big component of it is going to thrust most of the responsibility on Regina to figure out how to change Storybrooke. Remember when she was the Evil Queen and Emma was the Savior? Well, those roles seem to be reversing.

Does Regina have it in her to really be the hero? That’s a good question, but for the part, we would answer that question with a “yes.” We do think that she is going to be able to do it, but she will need to rely on some other people to make it happen. Heck, she could even need to get some hero lessons from Snow or Charming, someone who knows a thing or two all about it already.

Curiously, the promo seems to be keeping things for now at least in present-day Storybrooke. We do wonder just how much we are going to flash back to when the characters were in Camelot, but if that is happening in “The Price,” the producers are keeping it under wraps.
