ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 5: Kerry Washington would love Beyonce cameo

The fifth season of “Scandal” is currently underway, and the show already proved to us in the premiere that they are not afraid of big, surprising moves. How else do you describe an episode that ends with the truth being more or less revealed about Olivia and Fitz’s relationship?

We are going to change gears here for a minute, though, and talk about something else that is always fun: Guest stars. While this is not a show to really engage in anything like stunt casting, if you get someone like Beyonce interested, don’t you have to let her appear regardless? She is one of those people who will almost immediately get more people watching your show, and that could in turn boost some of your ratings to the next level.

While we cannot say if we could see Beyonce down for doing this show, Kerry Washington made it clear to Entertainment Weekly that she is at least someone who is very high at the moment on her personal wishlist for people she would love to have turn up:

“It would be great to have somebody like Beyoncé on the show, because any time Beyoncé does anything, it makes the world stop, and I would just be happy … Any time I get to be in a room with her, I’m like, ‘This is great.’”

So there you go, Beyonce. The ball is in your court if you want Olivia Pope to handle any of your problems.
