‘Faking It’ season 2, episode 15 preview: Lauren’s relationship revealed; detention drama
There’s going to be a certain homage, whether intentional or unintentional, to “The Breakfast Club” on next week’s new episode of “Faking It” on MTV. After all, we are going to get a chance to see what really happens when you get many of the show’s high-school characters in detention together, with really nothing for them to do other than try to hash out some of their problems. Who thinks that this will not end particularly well? The answer here should probably be “everyone.”
The biggest reason why this will be painfully awkward is that it basically is going to force Karma and Liam to sit down and have a conversation about what we’re referring to as the Zita chronicles: She convinced him to let her fly him and Karma out to Los Angeles, and while she was very nice on the surface preparing for Duke’s big fight, we had a feeling that this is where the story was going to end.
Meanwhile, Shane himself is still going to be dealing with the fact that he may have wrecked the first real romantic relationship that he cared about, all because he decided to keep it a secret that he outed Duke … or that he outed him in the first place. Both are pretty terrible.
Also, it looks like Lauren’s secret about Theo is going to be at least relatively out in the open moving forward; however, is anyone really going to care that much about it? That is what we’re currently struggling to figure out.
