‘Big Brother 17’ spoilers: Mapping out final four scenarios

LizWe know that the “Big Brother” live feeds are down until after Tuesday night’s show on the West Coast, and the last thing we’re going to do is trust any rumors about who is sent home online. Therefore, we’re not going to buy any of that unless CBS or someone extremely credible posts it, and instead spend most of this article speculating based on what we know. There are obviously spoilers from the past few days of the live feeds ahead, so be aware of that going into this.

Since we don’t know 100% confirmed whether or not Steve or Austin is going home, we’re going to map out both scenarios moving into the next phase of the game.

If Austin goes – If this happens, then Liz probably is in a really good spot going into the top three. Who would want to get rid of her over someone like Vanessa or Steve? These two are probably the biggest targets, though we could imagine a situation where Johnny Mac goes if he is on the block against Liz and Vanessa is the one making the decision.

We do think that John and Steve are both smart enough to get rid of the game’s best player if they are the ones making the vote. (Remember, the Veto winner holds the most power.) As for Liz, we figure she’d just be more likely to send home Steve out of revenge for what happened with her sister if she has the opportunity.

If Steve goes – Basically, Austin and Liz are in this case hanging on for dear life. We have a hard time imagining that either John or Vanessa would keep them together going into a final three. Austin would be targeted unless he is safe thanks to winning Head of Household; in that case, Liz would be targeted. We do think either Austin or Liz would have to get rid of Vanessa at four if they have the chance, mostly because of her strength in front of the jury. Maybe Liz would do something crazy if she has the Veto and wants to keep Vanessa, but that is it.

Ultimately, we imagine that Liz is probably the person most likely at this point to make the final three, mostly because she is the closest thing to a jury goat (even though she has played a decent game). John is beatable in the end, but he is such an enigma that Vanessa may not want him there.
