‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 7 star Candice Accola, husband Joe King expecting!

Over the weekend, the star of “The Vampire Diaries” made it clear that she and her husband Joe King (of the band The Fray) are expecting their first child together. King already has two daughters, and they were present for the announcement on Instagram. Accola posted the photo, and provided the following caption to go along with it:

“Sometimes a Saturday is best spent painting t-shirts and taking an awesome family photo. Happy Monday everybody! #ThatAintNoBurritoinMyBelly.”

Congratulations are definitely in order for Candice and Joe, and she will probably get plenty of chances to celebrate with her “Vampire Diaries” cast members as they continue to film the seventh season. It is far too early to determine what the show will do with this pregnancy, but we figure that they will need to figure out a way to write Caroline out for a little bit of time in the spring for maternity leave, unless they come up with something insanely creative like filming a ton of scenes beforehand.

The new season of “The Vampire Diaries” is going to premiere on The CW come Thursday, October 8. We’re going to have further news soon, so stay tuned for that.
