‘Poldark’ season 2: Take a new look behind the scenes

As production for “Poldark” season 2 starts to really get going over the coming weeks, we hope behind-the-scenes teasers become the norm. This is a show that has a passionate following, and there is an immense curiosity to therefore see what is going to be coming up next … even though some Americans are going to have to wait until next summer in order to see on PBS.

While there are no significant story teases below, we do find the messages via star Heida Reed (Elizabeth) illuminating nonetheless. For one, it gives you a sense of some of the preparation that goes into playing these characters, especially since you are working with live animals and you do have to prepare for some of what comes along with that. As for the other tease, that’s more of a sneak peek into costume fittings, which happen in enough time to make adjustments before production.

The BBC has already shown a tremendous amount of faith in “Poldark,” as the network is giving them a larger batch of episodes. Not only that, but they already have some plans to keep the show around for an extensive amount of time moving forward, provided that the ratings stay strong.

Hopefully, we’re going to have some other news related to the show soon! Who knows what the story will hold for Elizabeth moving forward? She certainly had a rollercoaster of a first season thanks to where she started with Francis, and where the story ended a matter of episodes later.
