‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: Stephen Amell teases magic beyond Constantine
Today is a huge one for Stephen Amell, and not necessarily just because of “Arrow.” The actor is appearing at WWE SummerSlam for his much-hyped battle with Stardust. Maybe a little bit later we’ll give you some quick-take news on the winner of that tag-team match, but we’re not really a wrestling site so you may find the news wrapped up in another “Arrow” article coming up. We are glad for Stephen, if for no other reason than that this allows him a chance to do something that he has apparently always wanted.
Before the show even began, though, some news has come out in regards to the show’s fourth season. Speaking on the WWE pre-shot (per TVLine), Amell made it clear that magic is going to be a major theme of the new season, and the series is “getting into mystical things that fans of [the DC Comics series] Green Arrow: Year One are really going to appreciate.” This isn’t the biggest piece of news in the world, but we know that this magic is going to extend beyond just the John Constantine appearance in the fifth episode.
One way you may see a little bit more of mysticism in the world of “Arrow” is by watching the new series “Vixen,” which is premiering coming on Tuesday night via CW Seed. We know that both the Green Arrow (who is actually wearing the Arrow costume) and The Flash are going to make cameos. It is set within the same universe, and there could be at least some teases of what is to come in there.
“Arrow” season 4 is going to premiere on The CW come Wednesday, October 7.
