‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: A preview of a preview

Here is where we are at present in our relentless hype for the fourth season of “Arrow“: We are actually writing about previews to various previews that are going to be coming up on The CW. This is what gets us to the latest video below, which comes courtesy of executive producer Marc Guggenheim.

The most notable thing about this image is something that eagle eyes may have already noticed, and that is a change in name for a place once known as Starling City: We are now officially Star City, and with the Arrow becoming the Green Arrow, more than ever before we are entering an era where the show is really a reflection of the comic book series. Personally, we’re fine with that, since “The Flash” is already bringing so much of that to the table. One show is in some ways influencing the other.

Even with the change of name and the perceived “lighter” tone, we really don’t think that “Arrow” is going to turn up being altogether different. This is still the same series that drew great ratings for The CW for three years, and they’re not going to do so much that they render it virtually unrecognizable. The show has too much invested here in this world and these character.

Plus, we still have serious issues coming up! Not only does the series have to deal with the presence of Damien Darhk a.k.a. the new Big Bad, but there is still tension between Oliver Queen and John Diggle and some other dramatic situations ahead.
