‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 3 spoilers: More series regulars brought on board!
The third season of “Sleepy Hollow” is in the process of filming, and apparently they have decided to continue their process of making this into a completely new show.
So who are the latest additions to the fold? One of them is a face you know very well already. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Zach Appelman (who played Joe Corbin) is going to be back in a much more permanent capacity as a series regular for season 3. He only appeared in a handful of season 2 episodes, but this is a way for him to come bursting back on the scene and in a big way. We like the character pretty well, and above all else we like that another connection to Joe’s late father is sticking around.
Meanwhile, the same promotion can be handed now to Lance Gross, who plays Daniel Reynolds, the new boss of Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) with the FBI. During the time between seasons 2 and 3, Abbie will have pursued one of her other law-enforcement dreams. That means not having to deal exclusively with the Sleepy Hollow PD anymore! Granted, we miss Orlando Jones already, even if we haven’t seen an episode of the third season just yet.
The new season will premiere on October 1, and while there will be a familiar component or two to it (at least when it comes to solving supernatural crimes), this season is in many ways hitting the reset button after a second season thought of mostly as a disappointment. We’ll have some other information as it starts to trickle in over time. Stay tuned.
