‘Teen Wolf’ season 5, episode 9 preview: Theo challenges the Dread Doctors

Monday night’s “Teen Wolf” episode is the penultimate one of the summer, and when you remember that it’s pretty easy to also remember that there are some pretty huge stories that this show needs to tell! One of the biggest ones does tie to the Dread Doctors, and starting to understand even more of who they are, what they want, and how they are going to continue to shape this world.

Unfortunately for Theo, he realizes more and more in the sneak peek below that these are not particularly easy people to reason with. As a matter of fact, it’s borderline impossible to do so. While he proclaims to this repeatedly that he believed that Hayden would brought brought out of this alive, they just continue to call her a “failure.” This point of division could end up being the end of Theo depending on how far he decides to take it, and this is what makes these scenes in particular so fascinating to watch.

We imagine that moving further into these episodes, there will be more scenes like this as Theo has to start to understand who he is, what he wants, and ultimately just who he wants to fight for. We do understand why this is not a particularly easy thing for him to figure out.

Now, our only other wish is that somehow, someone could make it so that the Dread Doctors are a little bit easier to understand. Seriously, we can barely comprehend a single thing that these two are saying other than just repeating “failure.”
