‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Who was nominated? Plus, the early fallout

VanessaIf you’ve watched the “Big Brother” live feeds over the past several hours, you likely knew what was coming when it comes to nominations. Yet, that doesn’t take the sting away if you are a fan of a few select players.

As expected, Liz nominated Johnny Mac and Becky for eviction, and for the time being it feels clear that John is the target. Apparently he would not even look at her during the Nomination Ceremony, and she definitely wants him gone now. He and Vanessa had a tense conversation earlier (read more about this here), and with that there’s also plenty of tension there. Ultimately, this is the week that John has to win Veto if he wants a show at sticking in this game. Maybe this is Zingbot week, and we do think he would have a good chance of winning that competition since there’s typically a strong mental component to it. It could also be OTEV, and we feel like he’s probably one of the best physical players left in the house alongside James.

The flaw with John’s game right now is mostly just that he has lost most of his game face in the past 24 hours or so, and seems to be very annoyed with the way that things are going in the house. We feel him on that, but he has to try to do something to change it!

If we were John, our thinking would be this: Try to win the Veto, and if you don’t go Full Godfrey and mark your target at the ceremony. If he proclaims that he’s coming after the twins publicly and draws that line in the sand, maybe he can convince someone like Vanessa to flip and get rid of Becky, since who she knows is coming after her already. Steve would vote against Becky for sure, but there’s still a challenge in getting James and Meg aboard this as well.
