‘big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Johnny Mac takes on Vanessa

JohnWe know that the Nomination Ceremony is probably going to be over in around an hour or so on “Big Brother 17,” we really wanted to bring you this update first because it is really fascinating and simply is worthy of its own article.

This afternoon, Johnny Mac had probably one of his most tense conversations to date with Vanessa, one where he confronted her over several of the things that she’s done in the house. Specifically, he claimed that he felt “bullied” by her when she was going at him with the whole James / Clay debacle right before Clay was evicted. Now, we should make it clear that we in general hate it when people on this show are throwing around this term. We blame Vanessa a little more from bringing the term up, and while we didn’t like John particularly using the term, we do understand where it is coming from.

Strategically, we’re not sure that it is a great thing to really hit Vanessa with at all face to face, since she’s got going to respond to it well. Specifically, she stormed out after John said that he doesn’t like it when she cries and yells at people.

At the moment, it seems like this confrontation isn’t changing anything for John anyway, since he is going on the block and he seems to have a good idea that he is the target. The best chance that both he and Becky may have at the moment is finding a way to turn Liz against Vanessa. Becky did a decent job at it earlier.

If Liz does not want to get rid of Vanessa but does want someone else to do it for her in the future, here’s another radical idea: Take out Meg this week, since nobody will be that bummed other than James, and you have the majority of the competition threats left in the game. Granted, this radical idea isn’t really the best one, since you also don’t want to leave in people who could come after you. Getting rid of John is probably the right move, even if we love John and don’t so much like the idea of him leaving.
