‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: More evidence mounts of Ben Higgins casting

LogoWe really hope that it is starting to be obvious to some out there that Ben Higgins is going to be the next star of “The Bachelor.” There were first reports about this a month ago before even Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of “The Bachelorette” came to a cloe, and then beyond that there were of course some weeks where there was no news at all other than the show and its producers trying to pretend like there was competition.

Was there really any other potential contender for the show? We know that they at least did something or another to make people think that a Nick Viall season would happen. It may be an popular opinion, but we would’ve been fine with that just given how much entertainment we’d probably get out of it. Instead, Us Weekly is now adding to the dogpile of stories by saying that Ben is more or less locked in, and they also add something in here about how he and Tenley Molzahn from “Bachelor in Paradise” were avoiding getting too close to each other so this could happen. Clearly, that does not bode too well for Tenley on that show if this is true.

Ben’s casting to us felt inevitable, since he was incredibly nice on Kaitlyn’s season and he is the sort of person the show tends to pick, even if he is a little younger than most other contenders. We just hope that the show does correct something that was one of their biggest problems with Kaitlyn’s season, and that was not really putting forth an effort to help us to get to know her.

Filming for “The Bachelor” should take place later this fall, and it could premiere in January.
