‘Big Brother Canada’ season 4 casting call cities announced

BB CanadaFor those of you wanting to get an early idea of just where “Big Brother Canada” is going to be holding open casting calls for the fourth season, we’re here with some answers!

Today, Global announced that open casting calls are going to be taking place this fall in Vancouver (September 19), Calgary (September 26), Edmonton (September 26), Winnipeg (October 3), Toronto (October 24), Montréal (September 19), Halifax (September 26), and St. John’s (October 3). Specific venues are going to be announced later. There is also an online casting process that can be done over at BigBrotherCanada.ca. Applicants must be 19 years of age by February 1, 2016 to apply.

While we’ve never gone through the online casting process ourselves, we have successfully been through other reality TV auditions and the simplest suggestion we can give some of you out there is to be the most open, honest, and energetic version of yourself. Don’t change who you are or put up a front, but make sure you don’t hold anything back and show your personality. If you are a superfan you can make that clear, but don’t just spend your time spouting off facts about Project DNA or the Saboteur twist. Focus on what makes you an interesting person who other superfans will want to watch.

We have a lot of faith in Robyn Kass and the team to find good people. We do hope that eventually there are some good candidates who come out of the northern territories or a place like Labrador, mostly because they have been for the most part under-represented on the show. With that said there’s not a lot of people up there, and it probably doesn’t make sense logistically to hold an open call somewhere like Yellowknife.
