‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Jason lends a hand to his friends

JasonTo many viewers, it is pretty easy to figure out that losing Jason on “Big Brother 17” is going to be a hard pill to swallow. He and Johnny Mac are considered online to be the most popular players in the house, and he has a flair and a personality that stands out from the typical contestant on the show.

So what is his fatal flaw? It’s the same really as his entire alliance. He, James, and Meg have spent most of the summer having their own party and not really thinking too much about what everyone else is up to when it comes to the game. A huge chunk of the house united while this group was left hanging in the wind. Still, they are at least waking up now to the revelation that there are lines drawn in the sand, and this could get interesting.

For the most part, Jason has not really done that much campaigning for himself to stay, realizing perhaps that this would be a lost cause, but as we’ve seen in the past a really sharp campaign can turn the tides in a big way. He would need to get the votes of Meg, Jackie, James, Steve, and Johnny Mac in order to do it. Steve and Johnny would be the tough part of Jason’s vote rallying, since they think they are close to the Sixth Sense, but it’s not impossible and we are disappointed that Jason isn’t working every angle to make it happen.

Jason has, however, still conspired with some of his friends to help plan out the future. He specifically wants to see Shelli targeted next, as he and his group have identified her as the biggest problem of the entire house. Nobody has really forgotten about Clay, either, but they feel like she is the one making the decisions and winning the competitions. Part of the way to ensure she goes home would be by either nominating her at the same time with Clay, which keeps him from getting the Veto for her, or putting her with Austin so that the twins will vote to keep the wrestler around.
