‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: When could season with Ben Higgins (or someone else) film?

LogoThe first thing that we should say here in this “Bachelor” article is that by and large, it is fairly easy to feel confident that Ben Higgins is going to be the next star of “The Bachelor.” Why wouldn’t he be? He is considered a likable fan fan favorite who got a ton of time at the recent “Men Tell All” special, and every indication and report out there suggests that he is going to be the guy.

Now that we have said this, the time is here now to ask the next question: When is his season of the show going to actually start filming? No matter who ABC picks, the answer here is still more or less the same: This fall. There is no incentive for filming to begin before then, mostly because you still have casting to go through and possibly location scouting and so much more. Filming for “Bachelor in Paradise” ended only weeks ago, and you have to have time for the tradition.

For those wondering, filming for “The Bachelor” typically lasts until right around Thanksgiving time, and the the leading man and his potential fiancee (if he picks anyone) get a chance to dive back into a bizarre world where their relationship is a secret for a while. It will premiere in January, and then come around March they get a chance to go public.

Yes, we are getting very ahead of ourselves right now, but isn’t this what happens sometimes when a “Bachelor” gets reported a little early?
