‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ spoilers: Lily Rabe returning as…
Regardless of whatever Lily Rabe’s schedule seems to be, she does always tend to find her way back to “American Horror Story” in some shape or form … and that includes the upcoming “Hotel.”
While we cannot tell you how many episodes she will be a part of, Entertainment Weekly reports that Rabe is going to be appearing as a famed serial killer who manages to be staying somehow at this hotel, who either has no clue who she is or are just extremely accommodating to people who like to kill. We know that Rabe can definitely play evil well, judging from her brief turn as possessed Sister Mary Eunice on “American Horror Story: Asylum.” She also played a more innocent version of the character early on in that season and during “Freak Show.” Meanwhile, she was Stevie Nicks-obsessed Misty on “Coven.”
Rabe’s lack of screen time last season was due in part to her role on “The Whispers,” the summer series on ABC which is not particularly likely to return at this point. Even if it is, contracts for the series expired earlier in the summer, and there’s no indication yet as to whether or not she would want to return. Back when she first signed on, there were no indications that the series would be filming in Vancouver. “Horror Story,” meanwhile, is filming this season in Los Angeles.
Rabe is joining what is an enormous cast, which includes everyone from Sarah Paulson to Kathy Bates to Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Denis O’Hare, and a variety of other performers. The new season should premiere in October.
