‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Da’Vonne makes an effort

Big Brother -Throughout the past few days we’ve been largely torn about Da’Vonne in the “Big Brother 17” house. We do really like her as entertainment, and we do think that she is also very smart and knows the game. What’s her biggest problem? Not holding back. She made it too clear that she was a force to be reckoned with, and her battles with Audrey created a whole lot of tension in the house. We do think that there is a part of Shelli who doesn’t want to backdoor Audrey just to avoid public backlash, so for her just getting rid of Day is a good option.

This afternoon, though, we at least did see the poker dealer try to make some sort of plea to save herself, or at least to convince Shelli to put up Audrey and let the house decide who to evict. (If you remember, Da’Vonne and John lost the Battle of the Block after he more or less threw it, and John then won the Veto.) One of her big arguments was that she could be used as a spy to gather information from the house.

Despite her pleas, it does not seem like anything worked here for Da’Vonne and Shelli is still probably going to backdoor Meg, an easy person to put up who will not go home against her. This is judging from a conversation that she had with Liz / Julia (whoever’s in there right now) right after meeting with her.

There is still one thing that could shake things up: The Last Laugh twist. There are twelve people voting, and if someone on Day’s side cancels out three people (say Audrey, Austin, and Liz) would vote to evict her, there’s only nine. Therefore, she would only need to get five people. Rounding up a group that includes James, Jason, Jackie, Jeff (who is aligned with almost everyone), and maybe Becky seems possible. It’s unlikely, but don’t rule it out.
