‘America’s Got Talent’ preview: When do the final auditions air?

America's Got Talent -Clearly, “America’s Got Talent” has had no problem milking the audition rounds for all they are worth. These auditions have been going on now for well more than a month, and while there have been some great acts, we do continue to contend that they could probably pack in two or three more than what they do and cut down on some of the generic backstories and oh-so-familiar comments from the judges.

Ultimately, that is what it is, but Tuesday night’s new episode will officially bring the audition round to a close. You can take a look at some of the acts in the promo, and that is enough to allow us to at least have a little bit of hope. Unfortunately, we don’t have anywhere close to enough information in here to actually determine whether or not these people are really any good.

What the final round of auditions does mean is that we are getting close to the live rounds, which are consistently our favorite given that we get to see some unedited talent for a change, and there’s not so much of the contestant jerking back and forth between Nick Cannon and the people trying out. No offense to Nick, but he is not the contestant trying out on the show! We don’t know why this franchise insists on that.

As you would expect, we will have a review of this episode online not too long after it airs. Be on the lookout for that.
