‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Jeff tries to be new Audrey, fares questionably

Jeff -The past few days of the “Big Brother 17” live feeds have made for tremendous television that has more or less surpassed anything on the actual “Big Brother” show, or really anything since Devin was in the house during season 16. We’re not saying that Bomb Squad “mastermind” was great gameplay, but he made the live feeds into something spectacular beyond words.

This season, that spectacular game-hustle entertainment has come via Audrey. She started by playing a pretty good game, then went completely crazy by making alliances with everyone without actually thinking that these people would compare notes. At the moment, we feel like Clay is really the only person who still is 100% loyal to her.

With Audrey now quieting down in hopes of reducing some of the attention on her, tonight Jeff decided to wage his own campaign by talking about his ideas to eliminate Audrey from the game, and how he may need to work with the likes of “Liz” and Austin in order to make sure that it happens. To his credit, he is one of the early adopters of the anti-Audrey agenda, but he is also acting far too early (before the next Head of Household Competition) and he is far from subtle. We’ve found Jeff for the most part obnoxious in the house, overbearing, and not someone who will ultimately see the forest through the trees. Also, dude’s gotta know that he has a huge target on him because of his reality TV history.

One bad sign for Jeff? Clay seems ready and willing to report some of his findings from a conversation with Jeff right back to Audrey.

Other odds and ends:

1. Julia is pretty terrible at being Liz, mostly because on two separate occasions today, we have heard her speak of Liz in the third person while attempting to be her. This is not good, people! Not good at all.

2. We really don’t want to hear the houseguests talking about how they are making the feeds bad and are probably getting the show canceled. You guys know that you have the power to change that, right?

3. One fascinating subplot for this first week is the massive invasion of the house by ants. Typically, these guys wait until at least a few weeks in before waging war.
