‘Royal Pains’ season 7 spoilers: Is Evan getting trapped by Boris?

We’re not going to say that we’ve loved every single Boris subplot in the history of “Royal Pains,” but for the most part any time that we can get this character around for some sort of mysterious scheme, it turns out to be extremely intriguing and entertaining. It is with this in mind that we have some optimism and excitement already for “Secret Asian Man,” the oddly-named episode of the show set to air on July 7. We’re going to be getting near the end of the season not too long after that, however crazy that may sound. (Yes, these eight-episode summer orders are more than a little bit insane!)

If you are interested in getting some basic details on the story that lies ahead in this episode, including Evan’s conflict with Boris, some more unusual disease, and also what Hank is up to, take a look at the synopsis below:

“Keller calls Hank for help when he suffers an embarrassing medical problem, but Hank believes Keller’s new girlfriend may be affecting his health in more ways than one. Divya treats a group of Civil War reenactors who seem to be suffering from a disease more likely to afflict their ancestors. And Evan worries he may be in over his head when he gets roped into a secret project with Boris.”

Given the information that we have it is a little hard at the moment to comment much on what Hank is up to, but anytime that we can see him practicing medicine while investigating is something we are excited to see. On the flip side, we’re really not that interested in anything related to the Civil War right now. That’s just unlucky timing given that the episode was written many months ago.
