‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Kaitlyn Bristowe, Chris Harrison’s heart-to-heart

Remember the Alamo? This is certainly a strange place for there to be a Rose Ceremony on “The Bachelorette,” mostly because we associate it with such a key moment in history. Now, it’s being associated with Kaitlyn Bristowe dishing out roses to the men she still has some feelings for.

There has been a distinct lack of buzz around there ceremonies so far this year, and we feel like one of the real reasons for that is them being shoved to start of the next episode. This format shift makes them almost an afterthought, but then again, the majority of the people being sent home are not necessarily contestants you really care about or remember in the first place. Given how far we are in season, we feel like we’ve been set up to believe that there are around five or six genuine contenders, and that is really it. The rest are all just along for the ride.

If nothing else, the sneak peek below (via Yahoo TV) is effective mostly in allowing us a chance to see Chris Harrison actually enter the conversation a little bit. The show’s host is typically a little bit off the radar during the first few weeks of a season, but then becomes a little bit more of an entity as time goes on. That definitely feels as though it is the case here.
