‘Big Brother 17’ spoilers: New houseguests confirmed, per latest promo

While this may have been more or less assumed that “Big Brother 17” would be bringing to the table a new assortment of houseguests, isn’t it nice to have something like this officially confirmed? We like to think so!

The latest promo below (thanks to Hamsterwatch for bringing this to our attention) shows the worlds “new houseguests,” which means that any rumors about this being an All-Stars season of some variety can quiet down a little bit. With that being said, this is not necessarily a guarantee that there will be zero returning players. Maybe we get a season 14 situation where there are a few returnees, or maybe we just get one a la season 11.

Personally, we would prefer to have a season featuring all newbies, and then maybe go for something like All-Stars next year when you have a really great pool. The problem with the show routinely bringing back a few people here and there is that it does potentially harm what they will be able to do a little bit down the line, and our desire to get a great cast for an All-Star season down the line greatly trumps getting to see one or two people we like a little early.

At this point next week, we’ll already know the new cast, and we’ll already be starting our spotlight series at this link! The entire group will be officially confirmed on Tuesday, and we expect the typical mixture of superfans, women in skimpy clothing, dudes with huge muscles, one or two parents, and probably someone with a preexisting following.
