‘Bones’ season 11 spoilers: Premiere date speculation, more for Emily Deschanel – David Boreanaz series
Let’s start this “Bones” article above all else with a reminder: There’s no reason to worry that tonight’s season 11 finale is also going to secretly double as a series finale. The show was renewed for an 11th season a while back, and the finale title was accordingly changed. (The installment was originally titled “The End in the End,” which is something that fittingly did have a few people shaking in their boots, wondering just what the producers had in store.)
So what is going to lie ahead now? Some of that you’ll have to wait to see since the finale hasn’t aired yet, but we can at least tell you a few generic details to help to start things off. Given that the series is on Fox’s fall schedule, there’s no need to worry about having to wait until the new year in order to see it. Given that star Emily Deschanel recently gave birth, we wouldn’t be surprised if there was a slightly later premiere date, such as one after the World Series, to give her plenty of time off.
As for whether or not season 11 will be the last, that has not been officially confirmed yet … but we do think that we are near the end of the road. The ratings are not what they once were, and that has to be taken into consideration when you are paying your cast and crew a good chunk of money thanks to the show going on for so long.
Hopefully, we’ll have some further insight after the finale airs tonight, so be on the lookout for some of that!
