‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Kaitlyn Bristowe explains her Nick Viall situation to the guys

“The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” both have a tendency to hype things completely out of control, and for the time being, that has certainly seemed to happen at times when it comes to the arrival of Nick Viall on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season. Is this anywhere near as shocking or a stunning as a reveal as the series has tried to make it out to be? Both yes and no.

To us, what is shocking is actually how matter-of-fact Kaitlyn seems to be when it comes to her decision to bring Nick back. It doesn’t feel like she is really spending any time thinking about it, and simply tells the guys that it is going to happen for the most part. Then, she goes out and kisses the guy! She claims that the two communicated often following her elimination from Chris Soules’ season, and clearly this is not going to be a case of him arriving and then leaving a split second later.

So how are the other guys supposed to feel about this? Probably not great, all things considered. Shawn Booth really puts it perfectly: If she had the utmost confidence in the men she has, why even consider bringing Nick in? We don’t see him necessarily getting along with anyone, and some have already pre-judged him based on the information that they know from Andi Dorfman’s season.

We’ll ultimately have to wait and see how far Nick goes this time around, but almost immediately he may be a favorite to last over a few of the guys that Kaitlyn has barely even spoken with to this point.
