‘The Walking Dead’ season 6 spoilers: ‘Straight Outta Compton’ star set to play Heath

More news -It is not particularly frequent that “The Walking Dead” chooses to both announce a casting and the character that they are going to play, but that is precisely what is happening right now when it comes to Heath.

Here is what we know for now. According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Corey Hawkins of “Straight Outta Compton” fame has been booked to play the part of Heath, a character from the Robert Kirkman comic series who will have a key part to play at the Alexandria Safe Zone. That is all we will say about him for now; while we understand that the temptation may be there to make comparisons between his story in the comics and what it could be on the show, but the reality is that these can be very malleable things sometimes. Just because he is one way in the comics does not even remotely mean that he will be the same way on the show.

This is the first confirmed casting for season 6, and we know that for the most part, the character most people are curious in seeing in Negan. It has never been confirmed necessarily that season 6 is when this infamous man will turn up, but given his ties to the Safe Zone in the comics, we’d be shocked if he does not appear at any point in the reasonably near future.

Season 6 should premiere, as per usual, in the middle of October. It will be proceeded this time around in the summer by the brand-new spin-off series entitled “Fear the Walking Dead.”
